We are in need of at least one more singer and musician to lead the music at Mass. If you or someone you know is able to sing or play the piano, please consider helping out once or twice a month at Mass. The 10:30am Mass on May 6th will be our annual Graduation Mass for all graduating seniors in our parish. Seniors will have reserved pews in church and should wear their gowns that day. In past years this Mass has always included participation from the graduates, so if your graduating teen would like to get involved in some way, please sign up below! We are looking for lectors, singers, altar servers, greeters, and gift bearers during this Mass. Also, the CCW and Knights of Columbus are helping in providing a reception in the church basement after Mass, and all of you are welcome to come! Beginning on December 3rd: All adults are welcome to join a weekly Gospel study group each Sunday at 9:15-10:15 AM in the Parish Center. We will reflect on the Sunday Gospel reading, and discuss ways to incorporate Scripture in everyday life.

St. Michael the Archangel is currently seeking to fill the position of Administrative Assistant. The primary purpose of the position is to ensure that the parish runs in an orderly and efficient manner. The position requires approximately 25 hours a week and is open immediately. This job requires a person who is a self-starter with a good attitude and people skills. The ability to pay close attention to detail is essential. Office and accounting experience is preferred as the job includes accounting, record keeping and answering the phone. Compensation will be based on experience. St. Michael the Archangel Parish welcomes you to a teaching and exposition of Sacred Relics on Friday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. Over 150 relics will be shown at the St. Ignatius worship site, some believed to be as old as 2000 years. Among the treasures will be relics of St. Maria Goretti, St. Thérèse of Lisieux (the “Little Flower”), St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Thomas Aquinas, and St. Faustina Kowalska. In addition, there will also be present a piece of a veil which is believed to have belonged to Our Lady and one of the largest remaining pieces of the True Cross in the world. The International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima will visit our diocese on Thursday, Sep. 29. Eucharistic procession and prayers will be at Planned Parenthood, Madison at 3 p.m. Confession and Adoration (5-7 p.m.), and Mass (7 p.m.) will be offered at St. Ignatius, Mt. Horeb.
